    Hallo list,
i have tried to burn an iso of 26MB of size, and my system locks
up so i have to reboot.
    The image was created with:

    mkisofs -l -J -r -o output.iso burndir/

    and the burncommand was:

    burncd -f /dev/acd1 -s 4 data output.iso fixate

After reboot i can find in /var/log/messages:

Jan 3 23:40:07 seth kernel: acd1: unknown transfer phase
    Jan 3 23:40:17 seth kernel: acd1: FAILURE - ATAPI_IDENTIFY
    timed out
    Jan 3 23:40:17 seth kernel: acd1: timeout sending command=a1
    Jan 3 23:40:17 seth kernel: acd1: error issueing ATAPI_IDENTIFY
    command
Jan 3 23:41:27 seth syslogd: kernel boot file is
    /boot/kernel/kernel

The system freezes while fixating the disc, so burncd -t shows
    no error.

As i can burn it in Win, i am out of ideas.
