FreeBSD unstable on Dell 1750 using SMP?

I have to check. We're running a reasonable sized domain ordering system
on 5.4 but as I currently don't have access to those machines I cannot
check the exact version.

I must correct myself, our stable 2850 is running 5.3-p9. Therefore I
cannot say if it's stable because of 5.3 or the relatively light load
(java tomcat stuff).
