I came back because I love the BSD architecture and dislike the ad-hoc 
nature of Ubuntu's new "features." i keep a Ubuntu machine around for 
the convenience of a desktop, but I don't expect it to be safe or free 
of surprises.

Hmmm... sounds like America these days. 'Political Correctness' and 
'cancel culture' are the new RightThink.
