Best 7890 driver choice for Linux?

Hello,

I'm going to reinstall a FreeBSD server with Linux. The server is based on Asus P2B-LS (onboard aic7890) with one UW drive attached.

What is the best choice for a stable, perhaps not fast, driversolution right now?

(2.0.35 with patches and stuff or....?)
