First of all i would like to thank everyone for your concern.
I have already gathered many sources about trusted operating systems ( for
example argus-systems was the first place to look due to its fame ) and i
found out that all the other links proposed are very helpful to me. I have 6
year experience as a hobbist to unix like systems (my favorite hobby is
trying new versions of FreeBSD and NetBSD and some linux versions in my amd
box ) and i have tried most of the free unix-like operating systems ( the
web page i administer at the university is on a pentium100 32Mb that runs
freebsd ,earlier Solaris 8 but was a bit slow). So in my paper i am trying
to bring up the advantages of a trusted environment and test for several
desadvantages that may occur ( such as network and host performance towards
known operating systems ). I have located theory about trusted environments
but i think that the community lacks documentation that concerns performance
, stability and other issues that may affect the use and the acceptance of
these systems. I'll try to figure this out with the best way i can and i
will sure make public whatever results i get.
Many thanks for your help
