Could you please post:
o the output of "dmesg"
o the output of "pciconf -lv"
o the output of "pkg info"
o your /etc/make.conf
o your kernel config file, if you made a custom one
About the "no crash dump" issue, try to set the following sysctl in your
/etc/sysctl.conf:
debug.debugger_on_panic=0
Then set it manually for the current session (sysctl.conf is read at
boot time):
sysctl debug.debugger_on_panic=0
