I sent you one but you apparently didn't believe the fact that I 
included a trace of fetch actually doing it..


the script is not perfect however

you have to go over the output and check that it hasn't converted
1) local variables with the same name as the globals in question.
2) In one case I saw "hostname" become "V_hostname" so there is 
something  not quite right there.
