CFT: FreeBSD Package Base

Its on the agenda for next months Working Group. That and tooling to help migrating to pkg base and keeping /etc files intact.

What are the plans to get rid of the hellscape known as “mergemaster”?  Is there anything exciting and new there either in base or any of the ixSystems projects?
