I believe bz's patch should fix it for you.  You can either apply it
by hand, or disable ASF mode by putting the following into /boot/loader.conf:
hw.bge.allow_asf=0

The latter will be off by default in 8.0, but this change was not done by
the point when RC1 was branched.  It should be disabled by default in RC2
though, when it will be ready.
