IBM xSeries 336 dual Xeon hangs on boot when APIC enabled

Recently, I had an opportunity to access one xSeries 336 box. With
7.0-BETA2 amd64, it boots just fine without any tuning. SMP is also
working.

Something must be changed in the past two years. ;-)
