Success on 6.1-RELEASE. I've got 2 jails and was hit by the first
issue (ifconfig one).
With rc.d/jail rev=1.32 all works fine (rc.conf jails setup below).
Let me know if you need more informations.

ifconfig_rl2_alias2="inet 10.0.0.2 netmask 0xffffffff"
