Fresh install on gmirror'ed disks?

AFAIK, no.

Install a minimal system on the first disk, then follow
these instructions:

When the mirror is up and running, cvsup, buildworld, buildkernel,
installkernel, installworld, mergemaster, reboot, enjoy ;-)
