4.8-RC, XFree86 4.3.0, and GDM

By playing with it a little more, I was able to get
GDM to work. I deleted the /usr/X11R6/etc/gdm
configuration files for gdm, then did another force
portupgrade of gdm. After making the changes adviced
in the message from the new portupgrade, it did
finally work.
