Dear Colleagues,

After "pkg upgrade dns/bind916" to the latest bind916-9.16.12, named
began eating up all memory:

gw kernel: pid 5329 (named), jid 0, uid 53, was killed: out of swap space

Before being killed, it fills the log with the following messages:

Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap1 failed; interface ignored
Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap2 failed; interface ignored
Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap3 failed; interface ignored
Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap4 failed; interface ignored
Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap5 failed; interface ignored
Mar 9 20:16:11 <daemon.err> gw named[5329]: creating IPv6 interface tap6 failed; interface ignored

I have "automatic-interface-scan no" in named.conf, so what is the matter, any ideas?

Yes, I have many bhyve virtual machines on this host, therefore many tap and bridge interfaces.
