Keymapping erased when disconnecting/connecting keyboard

Hi,
I'm not using any desktop environment, just a very simple window manager. A probale cause is that I've developed that WM myself so I would have pointed to that one if not for the fact that I've used it without this issue both on older BSDs as well as various linuxes.
