Hi Valeri:
Although that did not solve the problem, it made me consider an additional
change.
Switching 'python =' to 'python3.8 =' fixes the problem.
Also clarifies for me the x = is not a random label but the name of an
actual package.
The dependency now looks like:
python3.8 = {
version = "3.8_6,0";
origin = "lang/python38";
},
