	Not entirely - much depends on the license. Windows OEM licenses
are generally locked to the mostherboard by some low level hardware ID
check, at the other extreme corporate site licenses an be used on anything
and as many times as you like but they tend to get revoked once they escape
into the outside world. In between are licenses which can be moved to a new
machine but you have to ask Microsoft to reactivate it on the new machine.

	Usually if you buy a machine with Windows on it you get an OEM
license.
