Why is freebsd-update so horrible slow?

	Overloaded network segment, or overloaded servers. I'd bet on the
latter.

	You should have tried downloading Linux 1.0 any time in the week
after the announcement I saw "1 byte(s) per second" and gave up - that
release pretty much DDOS'd Finland.
