This is a vanilla bhyve VM. I've not modified netstat at all. Running
freebsd-update IDS shows no changes outside of those you'd expect like
/etd/passwd and /etc/ssh/sshd_config (this was modified because I've put sshd
on a non-standard port).

Yes the binary matches other vms (unless you have a particular method in mind
to compare).

On the affected host:

root at REDACTED:~ # netstat Shared object "" not found, required by "netstat"
root at REDACTED:~ # ls -lah /usr/bin/netstat
-r-xr-sr-x  1 root  kmem   157K Nov 17 01:03 /usr/bin/netstat
