You should find all needed information here:
https://www.freebsd.org/where.html
If you already have FreeBSD installed, the local manual "man ftp"
contains the relevant information regarding active/passive as well
as how to set a proxy for FTP downloads.
You can also refer to the online manpage:
https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=ftp&apropos=0&sektion=1&manpath=FreeBSD+11.0-RELEASE&arch=default&format=html
The location for manual downloads is:
ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/ISO-IMAGES/11.0/
Here you can find the 32 bit and 64 bit versions for burning to
optical media or for use with USB sticks (both full and minimal).

The FreeBSD Handbook has this information:
https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/network-wireless.html
Also check this excellent article by Warren Block:
http://www.wonkity.com/~wblock/docs/html/wireless.html
