cron.d / cron.weekly

Linux like systems have a directories cron.{daily,weekly,...} 
where you can put scripts to run daily/weekly, etc.

I will assume that FreeBSD has something similar 
but I don't see it (or haven't loaded the appropriate
package).  

How do I do this?
