Doesn't switch back to text mode

This works perfectly on my old notebook where I was not able
to switch back to the console in text mode.

Yet this doesn't solve the problem when coming from Grub2 in
graphical mode. Though, I detected that the problem only
occurs when there was a reboot by Ctrl-Alt-Del or by
"shutdown -r". When switching the computer off an on again,
the text mode comes up properly. Maybe I will detect another
helping effect in every day use.
