problems trying to install enscript ....

You are indeed correct (I couldn't tell before cuz *nothing* got 
installed) .... I poked around in /usr/ports & figured out that 
enscript-letter was the actual pkg, installed that (alone) & all is well 
.... *Boooyah* !!!!
