Best Laptop to buy for Freebsd Without OS?

Oh, yeah, I'd forgotten about sound.

T/X 400+ ThinkPads seem to have relatively quiet sound.  I don't know
what's up with that -- and I'm not aware of any way to fix it short of
replacing the physical speakers.
