Your opening the pandora box of flame war :)

Emacs with no doubt, because I have been using it for over 20 years,
over 3 major operating systems (Multics, DOS/Windows, all possible
Unix and the like). So yes, I feel very at ease with Emacs and sheel
uses the same CTRL/ESC sequences as Emacs :)
