CDRW Stopped Working Moving to 6.x

It's unclear to me whether you got a satisfactory answer.  Anyway, I run
6.2-RELEASE, and I burn CD-RW in this way:

burncd -f /dev/acd0 blank
burncd -f /dev/acd0 data cd.iso fixate
