 I get the exact same thing on 6.2-Beta3.
I get this as well(no core dump though):
freebsd# uname -sr
FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE-p6
freebsd# ldd /usr/X11R6/bin/opera
ldd: /usr/X11R6/bin/opera: not a dynamic executable
freebsd# opera -v
Bad system call
