Problem with slapd & nsswitch

Hello,

I am trying to configure an LDAP //

It seems I have problems with nsswitch

> ldap, passwd, endpwent, not found

Thaugh nsswitch.conf has been configured with very simple parameters :

> group: files ldap
> group_compat: nis
> hosts: files dns
> networks: files
> passwd: files ldap
> passwd_compat: nis
> shells: files


when I issue a simple --> id a_name --> I only have results for my  
local users not LDAP Users ?
