Thanks for your input Dan.

This was exactly my problem. I was getting SERVFAIL and the
WorkAroundBrokenAAAA wasn't doing its job despite its purpose to
overcome broken DNS responses. Hence, I decided to recompile sendmail
without INET6 support and it worked.
