Follow the steps

#cp /usr/share/doc/dhcp-3.0pl1/dhcpd.conf.sample
/etc/dhcpd.conf

#ee /etc/dhcpd.conf


your dhcpd.conf

#It should not be written as 10.0.1.1/24
