FreeBSD 5.3 installation

When the device probing starts the last line is like
this
md0: Preloaded image </boot/mfsroot> 4423680 bytes at
0xc03ddcd4
Then nothing happens and the machine does not respond,
what do you think is wrong?

Pentium III processor, MSI motherbord, this is my
first contact with Unix so I will apreciate you help.
