Running VMWare over FreeBSD

The company I work for bought VMware (the company) not too long
ago.  I specifically asked about this capability, and they said
that FreeBSD runs fine as a guest operating system, but not a host.
Also, the embedded operating system in ESX is a flavor of Linux.
