Growisofs and etc/crontab

Try defining the PATH in the crontab file.  Here's the first 2 lines of 
my crontab file:

SHELL=/bin/sh
PATH=/var/cron/tabs:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/bin
