FreeBSD 5.2: How do I automatically restart twm with the Default session?

Is this actually twm as installed from the base X packages?
Are you starting it from xdm(1) or startx(1)?
What does your .xsession or .xinitrc look like?
Does removing your personal .twmrc have any effect?
