At the risk of going far enough OT
to be banned, there are two types
of audio compression.  One is amplitude
adjustment, as it were, and another
is "time compression" (yes, check out
some multitracking software), so it's
possible to use the term in the sense
he's using it, but it's a tad, what, {arcane<?>}
unless you're producing hip-hop records....

Maybe we should recommend getting
a slower processor? :D :D
