vmware3 (revisited)

Last week I very happely wrote: "YES YES.. finally there and it works
great.. vmware3.2

I was wrong :-(( I installed it on my (test) machine under fbsd5 but
now that I wanted to install it on my (normal) workstation it fails.
S***t. The port for versions < 5 is broken :-(
It seems to compile only on fbsd-5.x and I'm not amused by this..
I'm no programmer myself so I have to wait for someone who makes
vmware3.2 available for fbsd-4.8 Is there hope? Or will this port
remain v5.x only ??
