Last supported OOTB is G4. AFAIK.
G5=Game Over.
You'll probably run into all sorts of problems.

FreeBSD4 is not 64bit. Thus, anything beyond 4GB is pointless and  
will be ignored.
Forget about PAE.

I'd go for a single-core Opteron (those offer the highest non-SMP  
performance) on something else than a NForce Chipset ;-)
Maybe the first generation DL145 or so. Or DL365 - but I don't know  
about that.

I've not tried running RELENG_4 on such old kit.


What purpose is this for, if I may ask?
