freebsd 6.0 beta1/ppc on emac 1250mhz: install atempt report

i tryed to install freebsd on my emac today and have the regrations i 
faced right hare:

*the installer copyed the files from the cd in a speed of aprrox 120kps 
with some halts every few minutes (this was done on an apple superdrive 
X4 wich a pioneer dvd-r/cdrw)

*the installer treted the sun gem (GMAC) ethernet controller as an 
unidetifaid controller and failed to set up networking

*when i booted the installed sysem the system failed to find the system 
logger and paniced (couldt find a repport of this anywhare)

my system sspec is:

mpc7447a (g4) proccesor
512mb of pc2700 ddr-sdram
80gb maxtor 4200rm hard disk
superdrive X4
mitsumi  usb 3/4 mac keybord
logitech optical usb mouse

im new in this mailing list bug repports so if thare is anything alse i 
need to repport in order for the problems bieng solved just say soo.
