gnucash port won't install: ".../xml-generator.go:No such file or directory" [solved]

Following up my own post...

If I explicitly say "make install FLAVOR=guile2", it works. I thought 
that this would be unnecessary since guile2 is the default, but leaving 
the FLAVOR= bit out causes it to fail.
