starnge ports tree error: perl5.16 non-existent -- dependency list incomplete

My Mk/bsd.port.mk has among "valid categories" an entry as perl5, but there
is no perl5 folder under ports. Should I try to re-build perl as
non-threaded? I recall perl creates shortcut from perl5 to perl-threaded5 to
deal with the different name structure?
