Keyboard problems with xorg 7.2 and Dell Inspiron 5100?

I've got this problem with my IBM T41 (discussed in -x11 and -mobile)
and my solution is add an ENV VAR
XKEYSYMDB=/usr/local/share/X11/XKeysymDB
