is there any chance that version 1.0.0 will ship with 6.3/7.0 despite the ports freeze?
Somewhere in the thread "duration of the ports freeze" on this list Pav pointed out that
major runtime fixes can also be a reason to commit patches :)

I can also verify that this works extremely well on my HP Compaq 6715b
notebook w/ the high-def screen (1680x1050). I've been following the
head on this driver for some time and doing what I can to help it along.
