This is not a critical problem, I'm only starting to use "R".

When trying to portupgrade under 5.5-PRERELEASE (buildworld/kernel run
on May 8, ports cvsup'd on 5/28 (R-2.3.0 makefile is dated 5/21) from
R-2.2.1 to R-2.3.0 I'm getting the following, with a "new compiler error"
in the portupgrade log. "gcc" is 3.4.2 [FreeBSD] 20040728 installed on
May 9.
