thanks for your immediate reply!
I've added pkg_info.txt and six log-files of the building process as
attachment.
The numbering corresponds the order of "make-attempts" I've described in
my first mail. The configure process is only to be found in the first
log, as I alway proceeded by just typing "make" - I didn't start from
the scratch.
