submitting changes to a port

I think I prefer this one.
Just about all files are changed, some patchfiles are deleted.......

When I want to delete files from the source after extract (or patch) 
what options do I have?
I was thinking:
    post-extract:
                @rm -f ${WRKDIR}/blah/blah/blah
