hello xosd maintainers, ports,

when trying to 'make' the latest version of xosd (2.2.8), i get the
following error:

mkdir .libs
 cc -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"xosd\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"xosd\"

Stop in /usr/ports/misc/xosd.

note that the previous version (2.2.7) worked fine.

hope this helps.

p.s. to ports - i just want to make sure that i'm not making 'noise' on
this list. is this the correct forum for such posts? i imagine that the
only other alternatives would be freebsd-questions or a message directly to
the maintainers without a cc to any of the lists. please let me know the
preferred manner for handling this. thanks!
