Can't make INDEX-5

I don't have any GTK settings in make.conf, and don't have any GTK apps
installed (I tend to avoid GTK as much as possible).  The make index didn't
show any errors, or any output of any kind except "Generating INDEX-5 - please
wait..  Done."  But, the INDEX-5 file was a 0 byte file after it finished.

Maybe reinstalling perl fixed the problem.  Maybe updating the ports tree
fixed the problem.  Maybe the phase of the moon fixed the problem.  :) 
Regardless, the problem appears to be fixed.  I'll keep an eye on it and let
you know if it ever stops working again.
