Maxima errors

Hi!

Sorry, if this is the wrong mailing list for my problem, but
maxima's mailing list is down (due to spam).

I installed /usr/ports/math/maxima on my -CURRENT machine.

When I start
# xmaxima
and type something like
	5+3;
into the input window, I receive this error message

    while executing

    (command bound to event)

What can be done?
