Hello,

Following your advice, I upgraded to "FreeBSD 6.0", but I still don't have
sound. The device /dev/dsp (or something similar) is missing. Moreover,
now I have no mixer device. However, a blue light on my "Creative Sound
Blaster Live 24! external" sound card is on.

I tried to unplug and reconnect the sound card, but in this case even the
blue light went off.

I would be very grateful if you, or somebody else could tell me what
should I do.

Thanks for your patience,
Sandor
