What does "dd if=/dev/dspX.X of=/dev/null" say about bytes/sec?

I get:

dd if=/dev/dsp0.0 of=/dev/null
296+0 records in
296+0 records out
151552 bytes transferred in 3.166495 secs (47861 bytes/sec)
